Small boat versus large boat cruises

Skagway

Skagway is located at the northern end of the Lynn Canal, about 90 miles northwest of Juneau. Skagway is the oldest city in Alaska. It experienced a period of rapid growth during the Klondike Gold Rush. The construction of White Pass and Yukon Route Railway in 1898 assured Skagway it wouldn't fade into obscurity. Skagway's single largest source of revenue is tourism. The Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park is a popular attraction for visitors.
