Whales and Bears are 2 of the biggest wildlife drawcards on Alaska Cruises. Our small cruise boat M/V Sikumi is a great way to see this Alaskan wildlife up close and in luxurious comfort.
Black and Brown bears are very common in Southeast Alaska. May and June are the best times to catch a bear show up close. Early Season they come to the shore often to forage for food. Later in the season they venture inland , to go feast on spawning Salmon.
Humpback whales can be seen all summer in Frederick Sound. Hundreds of Humpbacks return to Alaska each summer to feed with their young. They can be seen Tail diving, breaching and feeding on most cruises. No guest has left disappointed with there Whale watching experience on the Sikumi.
